New name, broader goal.

Yes, i thought the “Tech journal” was too limiting after all. Got too conflicted posting stuff that wasn’t 100% pure tech news and then, i feel theses posts get so outdated fast. I fell more about posting geeky stuff that i feel is interesting for me and the other geeks. I like also to give tips and review of stuff when i can.

For this reason i’ll change the name of this website, of course it’s still but it won’t be “Ennev’s Tech journal” It will be Ennev’s It’s a geek geek world.

What will it be about? it will be more personal and more about my general interest in tech, popular culture, music (DJing and production in general) and photography, although the photography stuff will be more link to where my photography on

That’s it’s for now and I hope you’ll like the new direction this blog is taking.

10% of U.S. Electricity Comes From Old Russian Nuclear Warheads

This is basically the least worst thing that can happen with Russian nuclear bombs! For the past twenty years, the Russians have been turning 500 tons of uranium from decommissioned nuclear weapons into nuclear fuel for the United States. It’s called the Megatons to Megawatts program. The last shipment from that 1993 deal arrived at a U.S. storage facility Tuesday, according to reporter Geoff Brumfiel of NPR’s Morning Edition.

Would be so cool if true, but I heard that legend over and over again since the 80’s. But who knows, maybe we will have a change to see them eventually!

Hi guys!
Just a quick post about iOs7, so far I like it, no real glitch with the installation except on my iPad gen 3.
The problem was that after the upgrade I wasn’t able to use iMessage or Facetime anymore, I tried clearing the users setting etc. Finally I had to restore the entire thing, wasn’t too painful with the iCloud backup, and was sure I would have to reinstall all the apps one by one. It worked surprisingly well.

Now I’m just wondering if anybody tried on an iPhone 4?

Manned Venus Flyby

VenusFlybyDid you know that the NASA was planning a Venus flyby in the 70’s it was basically like sending Skylab and an Apollo capsule there and back. It’s just sad to see all theses missed opportunities, it’s wasn’t a pipe dream where you would have to invent and develop new vehicle and technology, all this project was based on spare equipment from the moon missions.
